Born from a photograph Designer Diego Cortizas took on a fire escape in New York, of a glass door cut through by iron railings, holding the reflection of another New York building inside it.

Through his signature kaleidoscope technique, the image was folded and mirrored across itself until the iron, the glass, and the reflected building became a pattern of concentric circles and vertical bars in navy, cream, and grey, printed onto lightweight fabric that resists creasing and travels well. Reversible, with the kaleidoscope pattern on one side and the original photograph on the other.
