An áo yếm cut from the New York Iron fabric, born from a photograph Designer Diego Cortizas took on a fire escape in New York while there for a fashion shoot at the Empire State Building.

He caught the reflection of a New York building held inside a glass door, cut through by the black iron bars of the railings. Through his signature kaleidoscope technique, the image was folded and mirrored across itself until the iron, the glass, and the reflected building became a pattern of concentric circles and vertical bars in navy, cream, and grey.

Printed onto lightweight fabric that resists creasing and travels well. Cut as an áo yếm, the traditional Vietnamese halter with a covered front and open back, tied at the neck.
