At the neckline of this floor-length dress, geometric shapes are hand-stamped with carved wooden blocks and outlined in fine embroidered stitches — diamonds, stepped lines, spirals, small checkerboards — forming a collar of pattern that recalls the ornamental neckpieces of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian textile tradition. Cut from Dui silk in a lightly textured weave, made at the Hanoi atelier.
