Fragments of indigo batik gather around the V-neckline of this blouse, each panel framed in white piping and joined as a mosaic. The batik is drawn in the northern Vietnamese tradition of beeswax-resist dyeing, where patterns are traced onto cloth in hot wax before the fabric is dipped in indigo.
