Born from a photograph of the Outer Sakuradamon Gate at the Tokyo Imperial Palace, taken by Designer Diego Cortizas at an angle that framed the wave-carved roof against the stone wall behind it.

Through his signature kaleidoscope technique, the image was folded and mirrored across itself until the architecture became a repeating diamond pattern in blue, stone, and cream, printed onto lightweight fabric that resists creasing and travels well. Reversible, with the kaleidoscope pattern on one side and the original photograph on the other.
