The character chữ Thọ, the Vietnamese symbol for longevity, is hand block-printed across the fabric of this tunic and traced in fine embroidered stitches. Cut from Dui, a light Vietnamese cotton that breathes easily through warm days, the tunic falls in a soft, relaxed line. Printed, embroidered, and finished by hand at the Hanoi atelier.
Care
We recommend a cold, delicate cycle, preferably in a mesh laundry bag, with a mild detergent. Reshape gently and allow to air dry naturally.

The story
STAMP MOSAIC
The heart of this dress is its process. It begins with a patchwork of colored silk squares and circles, cut and sewn together by hand into a single vibrant base. Each panel is a different color, chosen and arranged before a single symbol is pressed. Onto that base, wooden blocks are inked and stamped by hand across the composition. Some of the symbols are drawn from Vietnamese decorative tradition, others gathered from further afield, each carrying its own quiet wish. A final layer of fine hand embroidery runs across the back and sleeves, framing the work and holding the layers together. Cut from Dui, the dress falls in a soft line and moves easily with the wearer. A garment made the way stories are made, piece by piece, in many hands.
