Along the V-neckline and cuffs of this blouse, fine lines of hand embroidery run in warm shades of red, pink, and orange, stitched one thread at a time by the artisans of the atelier. Cut from Dui in a relaxed silhouette that falls softly from the shoulder. Embroidered and finished by hand at the Hanoi atelier.
Care
We recommend a cold, delicate cycle, preferably in a mesh laundry bag, with a mild detergent. Reshape gently and allow to air dry naturally.

The story
THREADS OF HANOI
Fine parallel lines of running stitch trace the V of the neckline and the edge of each cuff, in warm shades of red, pink, and orange against the black of the fabric. Each line is placed by a single needle held by a single hand, drawn slowly across the silk. Hand embroidery has always been part of Vietnam's textile life, carried through generations of northern communities like the H'Mông and Red Dao, where vivid threadwork on dark cloth is a language in itself. This blouse belongs to that lineage without borrowing its motifs. Cut from Dui, a Vietnamese silk that falls softly against the body, the blouse is quiet everywhere except where the thread runs. A piece where all the color is in the stitching, and all the work is in the hand.
